Arrive in Albany a day before your cruise, settle into your downtown hotel, and enjoy the city at your leisure. The capital of New York State, Albany, is nestled along the banks of the Hudson River and is known for its distinctive blend of historic architecture and modern innovation. Home to the renowned New York State Capitol and the Empire State Plaza, this is an excellent destination from which to start your Hudson River journey.
